IMPORTANT INFORMATION- COVID 19 UPDATE

Days 2, 3, & 4 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) of the 2020 KPAC Cup have been cancelled.

USA Gymnastics has just released a statement on their website stating that all USAG events and sanctioned events will be cancelled at least through March.

As a father of one of our KPAC Cup competitors, her safety and the well being of all of our athletes and families is everything. Public safety should always be our top priority and we appreciate and respect the decision from our governing body.

The NC Governors Office just released a statement (we haven’t seen it officially, but were told it) stating that there should be no public gatherings of over 100 people. Again, these policies, in our opinion are for public safety and the right thing to do.

On a quick aside, for the mom’s & dad’s and families that have struggled to make this event it’s finest, I want to say thank you! I only wish a decision could have been made sooner!

This is a fluid and dynamic situation we find ourselves in. Please take care of each other over the next period of time!

It was our intent to move forward with the competition as scheduled however due to the current situation those circumstances changed quickly.

We know that safety and health is on the forefront for all.  We will have ongoing communications with all gyms. Please be patient and bare with us as we work with each of you and your gyms.

On behalf of Kristie Phillips Athletic Center we thank you for your ongoing support, knowing that this issue is larger than our community and organization.
